Landmark Aviation unveils renovated hangar and lounge at Toronto Pearson International airport FBO

$12 Million Renovation Includes High Tech Surveillance, Fire and Power Systems

Toronto, Ontario, — Landmark Aviation today unveiled a newly refurbished 100,000 square foot hangar and 22,000 square foot office complex at its Toronto fixed base operation (FBO).

“Landmark Aviation's Toronto FBO offers aircraft operators premier services,” said Shawn Vick, President. “Toronto is a flagship FBO in the Landmark network.”

The facility now offers a total of 220,000 square feet of aircraft storage, maintenance, office and lounge space. FBO amenities include fueling, ground handling, concierge, pilot lounge and a state-of-the-art weather room.

Last year Landmark entered into a long-term lease agreement with the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) to redevelop an existing 100,000 square foot hangar in the North Business Aviation Area of the Toronto Pearson International Airport.

In addition to the newly renovated hangar that will accommodate additional aircraft, Landmark's FBO now offers a new camera surveillance system.

“The facility provides the highest level of security for our customers,” Vick said.

The FBO is also the first facility at the Toronto airport to offer an energy power system that provides backup power in the event of an outage - ensuring that tenant computer systems remain online. A new sensor-enabled fire system is designed to issue first alerts for the Landmark operation as well as for nearby airport structures.

An 8,000 square foot flight lounge was remodeled as part of the renovation project and completed earlier this year.

The Landmark FBO provides service to corporate, cargo and military aircraft.

Landmark Aviation, an integrated services provider, offers light aircraft repair and maintenance at FBO locations throughout North America, as well as heavy aircraft maintenance and repairs at its major maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) centers.

The company's largest FBO facilities are Toronto, Dulles, Va., and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Earlier this year Landmark unveiled a $2.6 million interior renovation at LAX and a $300,000 renovation at Dulles.

In early 2006 Landmark announced the acquisition of two new FBO locations at Westchester, N.Y., and Scottsdale, Ariz.
