Landmark Aviation records $47 Million in Aircraft Sales during first half of year
40 Aircraft Sold By Landmark's Aircraft Sales, Charter & Management Division
Tempe, Arizona, — Landmark Aviation today announced that its Winston Salem, N.C.-based Sales, Charter & Management business posted $47 million in sales during the first half of 2006.“Demand has been strong for turbo-props and jets,” said Tom Mekis, Vice President, Landmark Aircraft Sales, Charter & Management. “The majority of our aircraft sales have been inventory purchased by domestic and international customers.”
Buyers were based in the United States, Australia, Israel, Austria and the Bahamas. Landmark Aviation routinely offers up to 30 aircraft for sale, many of which have been purchased by the company, refurbished and upgraded at Landmark aircraft modification and service centers.
The company is the leading Raytheon Beechcraft dealer in North America.
Landmark's Aircraft Sales, Charter & Management business accounts for approximately 10 percent of the company's annual revenues of more than $800 million.
