NBAA, Orlando, Landmark Aviation today announced a new 'Landmark Aviation MasterCard' as a first step in a comprehensive rewards program that allows pilots, flight departments, and others in the aviation business the ability to earn redeemable points for use of Landmark's MasterCard as well as point-of-use benefits.
The company's next step in the development of its affinity program will be to fully define the program based on customer feedback in the first quarter of 2006.
"Landmark Total Rewards will be a digital rewards program - our way of offering customers at our 43 locations in North America redeemable points on each purchase," said Shawn Vick, President, Landmark Aviation. "Integrating the customer experience at our large network of maintenance service centers, FBOs, and charter and sales locations will enable customers to earn rewards quickly and enjoy cost savings on all their business aviation needs."
Landmark is teaming with Comdata Corporation, a transaction processor in the transportation industry, for the new rewards program.
"The card will include a point-of-use benefit that will identify Landmark customers and offer savings based on agreed terms," Vick said. "The program will cover all Landmark services, from fueling to engine removal, replacement and spares."
While applications and enrollment in the program begin immediately, the full range of benefits through Landmark Total Rewards will be available in early 2006. In addition to earning points, participants using the Landmark Total Rewards Mastercard can reduce transaction times and reduce administration costs associated with paper transactions, payments and invoicing.
Landmark Total Rewards MasterCard customers will have an approved credit limit for instant charging for Landmark services, as well as a traditional credit card for use at any location that accepts MasterCard. This enables pilots and others to carry fewer credit cards while continuing to build reward points. In addition, the invoicing will contain line-item detail for purchases at Landmark locations to simplify customer accounting needs.
Enrollment in the program is free and customers can select their own rewards from Landmark services to other participating retailers. Landmark customers can participate as individuals or through corporate accounts that link multiple cards under one corporate name. Program features will include online sign-up, billing and account tracking.
