Landmark Aviation implements charter sales logistics software to track flight data and information
NBAA, Orlando, — Landmark Aviation today announced the implementation of the Total Logistics Control software system across its charter sales operation.“Total Logistics Control will provide Landmark's charter sales and aircraft management customers with a real-time, 24/7 information source for charter flights, flight tracking, catering, ground transportation,” said Shawn Vick, President, Landmark Aviation. “The standardized data provided by this system also provides flight and aircraft time recording - which will assist our customers by offering a complete information source for aircraft, crew and service coordination.”
Total Logistics Control produced by IPC Logistics, an Aviation Data Logistics provider, employs a proprietary database that builds upon Landmark's existing scheduling software. By having the new application in place, flight operations, pilots and aircraft management customers have access to flight arrival information and pilot activity through a Web-based portal accessible via the Internet.
“The portal is user friendly and provides information essential to flight crews,” Vick added. “Our goal was to offer an information source that would facilitate critical data to those who need it each day.”
Landmark Aviation maintains an extensive charter fleet, including Beechcraft King Air, Cessna Citation, Learjet, Hawker, Gulfstream and Dassault Falcon - one of the largest charter fleets in the country. Landmark's charter aircraft can use over 4,000 airports throughout the U.S.
