Landmark Aviation at London-Luton Airport (EGGW) has entered into an agreement with the U.K. Border Force that will embed an agent within the FBO facility for international arrivals. The new service will enhance the arrival process by allowing passengers and crewmembers to receive customs clearance on-site at Landmark-EGGW.

Landmark Aviation Completes Acquisition of Ross Aviation
Landmark Aviation has completed the acquisition of Ross Aviation, a network of fixed based operations located throughout the United States.
Headquartered in Denver, Colorado, Ross Aviation operates in major cities and resort destinations within the U.S., including Denver (BJC), Santa Fe (SAF), Miami (OPF), and six locations in Hawaii. The acquisition has increased the size of Landmark’s network from 57 to 75 locations globally.
Open House Held for Newly Built Landmark Aviation LFPB Facility
An open house was held on June 26 to highlight the newly constructed 8,500 square-foot Landmark Aviation Aéroport de Paris le Bourget (LFPB) facility. Built on the existing property, the new facility is adjacent to Landmark’s hangar and is located at Avenue de l’Europe 93350 Le Bourget.

Landmark Aviation Signs Agreement to Acquire Ross Aviation
Landmark Aviation announced today that it signed a definitive agreement to acquire Ross Aviation, a network of fixed based operations located throughout the United States, from investment funds affiliated with Centre Partners Management LLC and management. The acquisition, which is subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions, is expected to close during the second half of 2014.

Patrick “Pat” McGuiness has been appointed Landmark Aviation’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As CFO, Pat will oversee Landmark Aviation’s strategy and corporate development, tax, accounting, treasury and fuel processing divisions.

Landmark Aviation Holds SAN Location Groundbreaking
Landmark Aviation held a groundbreaking ceremony on October 17 for its new San Diego International Airport facility. Landmark Aviation will design, build and operate a new, state-of-the-art FBO campus, with a 20,000 square foot terminal, a 250,000 square foot ramp and five hangars on 12.4 acres of airfield. The new facility will achieve LEED Platinum certification from the US Green Building Council.
Landmark Aviation Aircraft Management & Charter Approved For DCA Operations
Landmark Aviation’s Aircraft Management & Charter division has been approved to operate to and from Washington D.C.’s Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA). Landmark Aviation received the approval by adopting the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) DCA Access Standard Security Program (DASSP) into its current safety and security policies and procedures.
Landmark Aviation Announces Upgraded Mobile Application
Landmark Aviation recently launched an upgraded version of its mobile application. The updated app, Connect 2 Landmark, will replace the original Landmark Connect app. The app is currently available for Android and Apple devices. If customers already have Landmark Connect on their mobile device, the name change will update automatically and they will not need to redownload the app.
Landmark Aviation Awarded ARGUS CHEQ Platinum Rating
Landmark Aviation was recently awarded the ARGUS International, Inc. (ARGUS) Charter Evaluation and Qualification (CHEQ) Platinum Rating. This is the highest ARGUS rating awarded. As a result of the rating, Landmark charter passengers may now receive ARGUS Trip Assurance at no extra charge.

Landmark Aviation Performs First Installation of Raisbeck-Hartzell Propellers
Landmark Aviation’s Norfolk International Airport (ORF) location performed the first installation of Swept Blade Turbofan Propellers last month. The new propellers from Raisbeck Engineering, Inc. and Hartzell Propellers, Inc. have entered service on the King Air B200, BB 1723. The event also marked the first installation of the Raisbeck Swept Blade Turbofan Propellers with the FAA-certified Raisbeck Epic Platinum Performance Package.

Landmark Aviation Expands its Charter Fleet
Landmark Aviation has expanded its managed fleet offering with three new aircraft. The fleet now includes a Beechjet 400A, Citation Sovereign and Premier 1A.
“These aircraft are great additions to our fleet,” General Manager of Charter Brad Bruce explained. “The Beechjet and Premier have increased the range of cost effective aircraft options, and the Sovereign has provided a coast-to-coast solution for those on the east coast.”

In early 2000 he made the move to Piedmont Hawthorne, now Landmark Aviation, where he has served as General Manager of several key locations as well as VP of Canadian Operations.
