Landmark Aviation-GSO Hosts Open House to Showcase Newly Remodeled Facility

Houston, TX — 05/31/2011

Landmark Aviation-GSO hosted an open house this month to showcase its newly remodeled facility. More than 50 supporters of the location attended the catered event, including Greensboro Mayor William H. Knight, TSA representatives, Airport Authority representatives and numerous base customers.

“With this grand opening, we offer a more spacious state-of-the-art facility with increased amenities for our customers,” Vice President of Sales & Charter Jim Hopkins explained. “We are excited about the opportunity that lies ahead of us to compete at a higher level here in Greensboro.”

The $2 million project required major renovations that included structural changes, such as a new passenger lounge, VIP lounge, first class Bistro and a state-of-the-art conference room. Paint, flooring and furniture have been updated throughout the facility, as well.

During a toast, Hopkins recognized the Chairman of the Airport Authority, Henry Isaacson, and former Property Leasing Manager, Alan Boone, for their contributions to the eight month project. Each was presented with a gift on behalf of the Landmark Aviation staff.

“The event was a huge success,” General Manager Bruce McCall commented. “We received some really positive feedback in regards to our facility and have already seen an increase in business.”
